We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded

Factory Manager

to ensure safe, high-quality, efficient and cost-effective operation of our manufacturing facility. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and strategic execution to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the operational management, development and continuous improvement of Kouvola factory's production with three units (Profile production, Glass processing and Glazing assembling and packaging). This includes leading daily operations, ensuring production meets cost, quality and delivery targets.

You will apply your expertise in production processes, Lean Six Sigma, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards such as ISO 45001. You will also work with digital manufacturing technologies, including automation and data analytics.

You will be committed to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, applying Lean methodologies and introducing new technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Strategically, you will align operations with Lumon’s goals, manage budgets and KPIs and oversee risk management. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including your team, sales units, finance, R&D, suppliers and contractors. Therefore strong communication skills are essential.

What we are looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience in leading multi-layered organizations, with strong change management, project management and leadership skills.
• Strong operational management in process manufacturing
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Technology or a related field.
• Experience working in multicultural environments, with fluent Finnish and excellent English skills. Spanish is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools, automation and data analytics.
• Proven supply chain expertise, with an innovative mindset and the ability to identify development opportunities from the production environment.
• Ability to bring structured development and strategic leadership to an execution-focused team, with strong business acumen.
• Solid understanding of Lean methodologies, compliance standards and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
