As we continue on our journey of global growth, we are looking for a

Sourcing Manager

to join our international Finnish family-owned company. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive procurement excellence while contributing to our sustainable growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing global procurement categories of materials and services, the focus depending on your experience and interests. You will also participate in procurement development.

You will define and implement category strategies to secure commercial result, quality, availability and sustainability in your categories. Building and managing supplier relations, contract management and market expertise in your categories are essential parts of this role, as well as supplier quality and risk management.

You will work closely with various internal stakeholders within Lumon Group, including production and supply chain, quality and R&D and coordinate cross functional category teams to ensure reaching our common goals.

In this position you will report to Procurement Director. Your home office will be either in Kouvola or Vantaa, with a flexible hybrid working model. This role requires occasional travel between our Kouvola and Vantaa locations, depending on your primary office, as well as visits to our international units and partners.

What We’re Looking For

• MSc or BSc degree in engineering, economics, procurement, logistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or other applicable experience

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement and supply chain management tools and processes

• High capabilities and motivation in leading change, project management, negotiating and influencing

• Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and drive for result

• A team player with a proactive, flexible approach to responsibilities

• Willingness to take initiative and adapt to evolving roles and tasks and work independently to drive the agreed category strategies for results

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a global, multi-site environment with strong language skills in Finnish and English.
